WOW! what a weekend.

On Thursday we had a rehearsal dinner for Scott's sister and her husband. It went well. The next night we had a Mormon bachelorette party with virgin strawberry daiquiris. We had so much fun but did not stay out to late because Mel(the bride) was tired. We stopped at stop lights and got out of the car and danced. We also danced for people coming into her apartment complex. Then we stayed up while Mel went to sleep and talked about life. 4 of us were already married. 2 of the married have children (me and the cousin) and one was pregnant. 3 were single and then Melissa. The next morning we meet back at the apartment's and go to Mel's saloon to gt our hair done ! Then we get to the church to get ready. By this time Scott calls me on Brittany's cell phone because Madison had broken mine Thursday night. Scott has a flat tire and is not sure if he can even make the wedding. He makes it to his grandmas and gets ready and gets there right on time. But we could not find anyone to watch Madison so he really didn't get to watch the wedding anyways. I had to stand up in these shoes that are killing my feet and I can not Even walk. After the wedding The bride and groom realize that they do not have a marriage license because for some reason they thought that the bishop would get it for them. So we go to the reception and they have to leave early because they had to fly to Vegas to get "married" so that they could leave the next morning at 6 to Florida for their cruise. The get home from Vegas have two hours then head back to the airport and realize that Mel does not have her birth certificate (she is 20 so she needs it for the cruise) and her drivers license. They miss there flight by 5 minutes. They find a flight to Dallas and wait in Dallas for hours. and then find a flight to Florida. The get there about 11:30 our time and got go the hotel. They then have to go back for luggage. which has the marriage license in it. and it is there. Finally they are all set and can relax.

All is well now. The wedding was nice and they are married now!

She needed a how to mormon wedding book that tells you all you need to know and NOT forget. I had one, and I was very grateful. Oh well, at least they will have a good story for the kids. Hey girl, would you like to do something with Helena and Stacey when army weekend comes up? Like a girl's not in with a movie and baking?
