We left for our anniversary trip late Friday night. We met JVA AND SLA at the hotel (which was extremely scary.) That morning we headed to the zoo! The Hotel was suppose to have a breakfast but it was just a few danishs and some orange juice so we decided to eat at whatever we could find. We eventually found a Dennys. The Zoo was a lot of fun and Madders love the Giraffes. I really really liked the polar bears. One was swimming and playing with a flamingo( a fake one.) After the zoo we went back to the hotel and JVA and SLA went home. We checked in and the guy sent us to our room which smelled very bad and had to queen sized beds. We went back and he said that he had changed it for us because it is better for the baby. I was thinking what is better for the baby to have her sleep in a bed by herself and fall off? So we went and good a different room. Scott was sick and We really did not want to leave the hotel so we just ordered some pizza. The next morning we got up and headed to Sea World. We found another Dennys and ate breakfast. At sea world we saw a manatee poop, a penguin poop, touched dolphins, star fish, and bat rays. I think it was awesome though we did not get to go on Atlantis because of madders. Madison liked the Dolphins and sea lions. I really liked the walrus. We headed home and on the way Scott was extremely tired so I kept him awake until we got to el Central and we got a hotel room and stayed the night. Over all it was a amazing great trip.

How awesome. Will and I have YET to go on any trips like that... he really needs to just slow down and realize that spending time with me and the girlies is MUCH more important than school.
I want to go to sea world, so badly! maybe I should just take Rhayn and go with out Will LOL.
Just tell him that he needs to find time or you are going without him!
fun fun!!! Joe and I went to vegas for our first anniversary trip. It is worth going to once and then never again. interesting memories. perhaps i will recap and turn it into a blog entry
first anniversary trip - hmm - maybe I should complain cause I never got one. I think we finally started having anniversary trips after the children were in high school - then we'd take a 3 day weekend after Thanksgiving and head up to Flagstaff or somewhere north. I'm glad you had fun.
I'm jealous!! A vacation filled with animals. How fun!! And they've got such great animals in SD. About 10 years ago a friend and I did the zoo, the wild animal park, and sea world.. It was fabulous! Giraffes are my FAVORITE. I just have this huge desire to give one a hug!!
alex's human probably just wants to hug a giraffe cause she knows that was what people called me when I was growing up :-( and I need a hug.
