The rest of the summer will be just as fun. Girls night out, tubing the salt, and a week in Cali.

Summer
I am glad that summer is here. I love having Madison at home. If I had the patience I would keep her home all year round but alas I do not. We have already went camping at woods canyon lake which was fun. Nannah did not want to sleep at night and was a lot of work but it was nice just getting out of the heat and spending time with Scott's bro and his wife and their little daughter. My Hubby even caught a fish!! We also got a little geocaching in (which is very hard to do with three small children.) My goal is to get to 100 caches by the end of the year. We are currently at 63 I believe.
After we got back a few days later I went with my family to Canyon lake. It was fun the kids loved it. We played on the beach and took the kids out in the canoe. me and my dear mother even took it out and while trying to "park" it the wind was a little Strong and it wasn't the easiest thing and we were getting blown into rocks and other people. So I stupidity thought I could just jump out (thinking the water was shallower than it was) and pull us in. But instead my foot must have slipped and I flipped the canoe over my mom falling out and the canoe being full of water. Also someone forgot the hot dogs ( my mom) so we just had a little bit of everything for snacks. It was so much fun and home to go again soon!!!

ok - so why in that picture of the canoe is everyone not wearing pfd's - that is not safe. You need to yell at those boys.
up here, at all of the boat ramps, they have stations set up titled Kids don't float where they have pfd's you can borrow if you don't have your own. Scary to me that anyone would be in a canoe without one. Play safe - but glad you had a great time and it's things like forgetting the hot dogs or tipping the canoe that make life stories great - whoever thinks about the perfect picnic lunches.
Asher is the only little kid without one. and when anyone else went they wore them. And the put one on Ashe before they took off.
