Ray's funeral was today. Even though I was outside because of Madders I know that he was glad that Scott was there. He died last week after four surgerys to remove the cancer ( i think it was four?) He was one of the nicest men I met and I have not know him very long. He is Scotts best friends father, but he was just likes scotts father. He was Madders papa Ray. He was in the Hospital when he got to see Madders for the first time he was so excited he had been waiting all day and he ws so happy just to get to hold her. A year ago he was so healthy and who would know that he wouldnt be here for our first year anniversary. The funeral was at a Catholic church in Globe were all of the Salas family lives. He was a great man.

I'm so sorry that you are going through the loss of someone who obviously meant so much to you. He must have been very special for you to have written such a nice post about him, and how lucky you must be to have known him..
