I was up in the valley yesterday so I was not able to write. Going to the zoo and watching two on my amazing nieces. I love them so much!!!
#11 I am thankful for the veterans. Especially my family members who have put there lives on to serve our country. My cousins on both sides, my brother, brother in-law, and very good friends. I love them all and they do not know how proud and grateful I am to them.
#12 I am thankful to the boys in the church who on every holiday go around and put flags up. I love waking up and going outside and having the flag in my front yard. I love driving by the church to see four small flag flying and also the one on the flag pole.
on a side note I was sad to see yesterday that I drove by Ho Ho kam and there was no flag flying.

they had the flag flying at half mast on Tuesday but since the school was closed, there was no one to put it back up on Wednesday morning. They do not have a light that goes up the flagpole so they put the flag away every night. The principle is a veteran in the Marines so he was probably sad too.
I wish the boy scouts around here did that, I would gladly pay $ to have a flag on the holidays.
